YOU Are in Charge in 2026: The Mental Health Warrior Program Has Your Back

As we wrapped up 2025, Lee and I didn’t gather around a roaring fireplace. No leather chairs. No dramatic crackle of logs.
Instead, we were sitting in our car, parked outside our local convenience store, heat on just enough to be cozy, windows slightly fogged and diet sodas in hand like they were gourmet beverages. Welcome to the real Fireside Chat.
The world felt quiet. No rushing. No fixing. No pressure to solve everything about life, mental health or the future in one sitting.
And the surprising thing? It felt peaceful.
Not “everything is perfect” peaceful. The real kind. Shoulders down. Breathing steady. No emotional pileup demanding attention.
Lee took a sip of her soda and said, “You know… I’m actually excited for 2026.”
That stopped me. Because usually this time of year is about surviving. Bracing yourself. White-knuckling the holidays and hoping January magically fixes everything.
But sitting there, warm car, quiet moment, Warrior tool in action, it hit us: This is what being in charge actually looks like.
Not chaos. Not intensity. Not always pushing harder.
Just being present. Reflecting. Planning with excitement. Using tools instead of emotions to run the show.
And that’s when we realized — Warriors don’t just survive the end of the year, we are excited for what comes next!
The Warrior Solution
For 20 years I battled Bipolar, Alcoholism, Anxiety Disorders and PTSD. This left me feeling so powerless, that I tried to end my life. But in that dark time, I discovered something life-changing: Mental health is the key to overcoming any challenge.
Armed with that knowledge, I created the Mental Health Warrior Program — a bold new SELF-HELP approach that puts YOU in charge.
Not your emotions. Not your schedule. Not the chaos of the world. YOU!
So you can take charge of your emotions, triumph over challenges and build the life you really want!
2026: The Year Warriors Look Forward to Challenges (Yes, Really)
Let’s be honest… Challenges are not going away.
And that’s okay. Because challenges aren’t stop signs — they’re invitations.
Invitations to practice being in charge. Invitations to use your tools. Invitations to take your life in a direction you choose.
Because Warriors don’t wait for calm to act. They engage — 24x7 — because that’s how strength is built.
So let’s talk about three simple, powerful ways you can take charge as a Warrior in 2026.
Action 1: Start Simple
Every Warrior journey begins the same way — with action, not overwhelm.
That’s why the program starts with free, downloadable starter resources like the Get Started Guide. No pressure. No massive commitment. Just two simple Warrior tools you can actually use.
These tools help you:
Regain control in the moment
Take action instead of freezing
Learn how the Warrior approach works in real life
You don’t need to master everything. You don’t need to change everything. You just need to start being actively involved in your mental health.
That’s how Warriors build strength!
Action 2: Explore the Warrior Tools
Once you get a taste of what being in charge feels like, curiosity usually kicks in. That’s where the Warrior Blog comes in.
It’s your behind-the-scenes look at:
The Mental Health Warrior books
The Warrior Challenge Coin
Examples of how I use the program and you can too!
You’ll also meet a familiar face — Marvin the “Mental Health Warrior” Cat and his crew.
Marvin doesn’t sugarcoat things. He tells it like it is. He reminds you that being in charge doesn’t mean being perfect — it means showing up, laughing when needed and taking action anyway.
Action 3: Build Your Warrior Tribe
Mental health doesn’t thrive in isolation. Warriors build tribes.
That might look like:
Talking with friends or family about your challenges
Sharing a Warrior tool that helped you
Supporting each other through tough moments
And don’t forget — we’re here too!
Even though it’s virtual, the Mental Health Warrior Program is open 24x7 through blogs, social media and resources. That’s what Warriors do — they stay involved in their lives, not just when things are calm, but when things get real.
And personally, we’ll Be on Shippensburg University Campus… With Sandbags. Because Warriors don’t just talk — they move — don’t be surprised if you see us out there.
Reminding people that mental and physical strength go hand in hand.
Wrap Up
As we close out 2025, here’s the Warrior truth: You didn’t just survive.
You learned.
You showed up.
You kept going!
And in 2026? You get to be excited. Not because challenges will disappear — but because... YOU are in charge!
And together — 24x7 — we don’t just survive, We THRIVE. Welcome to 2026, Warriors!
